Saturday morning Zeke got his first bath! He did very well–there was minimal whining and very little jumping. It looks like he won’t be much of a swimmer. He did like to cuddle in the towel after his bath.

It’s been four weeks of the “Zekester” in the Johnson pack! Time has truly flown by, and Aunt Adrienne claims that Zeke has gotten bigger. Mom can’t see it yet, but we have our first vet visit on Tuesday so he’ll be weighed then.

Mom, Daisy and Zeke all returned Monday evening from their Indy road trip. Everyone spent Tuesday recuperating from the 10-hour drive. Thankfully, Jeremy was able to join us for the return trip home. I’m sure he really enjoyed the trip:)

Baby Zeke has a chewing addiction. Combination therapy includes plenty of nylabones for powerful chewers, bitter apple spray and lots of patience. He’s chewed through three flexi-nylabones–a feat I’ve never experienced with a dog! So, we’ve switched to the non-bendable versions. Here he is devouring a nylabone while Big Sister Daisy watches:

Zeke attended his second session of Puppy Kindergarten at Woofs! tonight. He still had some trouble with the socialization/play time. Zeke has officially been part of the Johnson pack for two weeks now! He is adjusting well into the daily routine, and many of the minor problems such as crying in the play pen and maniacal chewing are getting better. We will attend week two of Puppy Kindergarten today. Here’s a photo of his “den.”

Zeke attended his first of four sessions of Puppy Kindergarten at Woofs! Dog Training Center in Arlington. He was one of about 15 puppies ages 10 weeks to 4 months.
