Zeke is learning quite a bit every day! In this week’s basic obedience class, he learned to walk nicely on a leash–which he does naturally when Daisy’s not around. He’s struggling with “down,” which is very common with small dogs. They have trouble distinguishing a “sit” from a “down” since they’re so close to the ground. Zeke also has all his big boy teeth now! And he is starting litter box training this week. (I’m sure it will call for a special post.)
Daisy is doing well and has calmed down a lot since Zeke’s arrival. She isn’t guarding toys as much as she did initially. She’s very patient with Zeke, and she adores him. Hopefully, Daisy will get back into agility training soon–maybe during the summer. She’s excited to be moving into a house with a yard soon! That means her agility equipment will be coming out of storage too! She can practice her tunnels, jumps and weaves! And she can show Zeke how it’s done… Daisy also got a really good brushing–she had produced enough loose hair to make a spring jacket for a chihuahua (yes, that is a large ball of fur next to her).
Both dogs love having Aunt Joanne in the house. She babies them very much like Aunt Adrienne did. And they do miss their Aunt Adrienne…

I’ve pulled this post up a couple of times now and the two pics are not loading with the post….. Thanks for keeping me up to date with my niece and nephew. Aunt Vick
