A Long-Overdue Update!

So, it’s been a really long time since the dog blog was updated, but there’s been a very good reason!  Mom got married!  Daisy, Zeke, Mom, and Daddy Jeremy have been adjusting to living together…  And it’s going really well!

Currently, we’re working on training the dogs to stay out of the bay window and off furniture in the living room.  Plus, we’re working on a few new party tricks.  Stay tuned.

Finally, we have moles in our backyard behind our shed.  Mom had to cut back a large bush and remove a lot of debris left by the previous owner to see the holes.  We had wondered why Zeke was so fascinated with the area.  So, Zeke is mole hunting about twice a day.  We’re letting him dig for now because moles are hard to get rid of and we’re planning to re-landscape that part of the yard anyway.  Here are some photos and a video.  Enjoy!

A post-digging nose…

Zeke takes a break from digging, and Daisy looks bored…

Hmmm…  What’s down there?

And here’s a short video of the digging and smelling…

After a walk…

Walks are good exercise for everyone!  Daisy and Zeke enjoy the exhaustion of a good, long walk.  The saying goes, “A tired dog is a good dog.”

Accessorized…

My dogs are accessorized…

Zeke’s “murse.”  And no, I didn’t pose this photo.  I found him like this:)

Daisy’s cell.  Normally she’s laying on it, and I can’t find it when it rings.

New Photos

Daisy and Zeke are enjoying the nicer weather and their long, daily naps…

Daisy is yawning.

Zeke likes to watch Jeremy grill.

For the love of a hedgehog.

Zeke prefers the company of other Jack Russells.

Can we go outside already?

Berdina Is Found!

Daisy and Zeke are celebrating Berdina’s return to WARL!  After nearly a year of being lost, Berdina is found!  She’s now safe and home at WARL.  Thanks to everyone who helped with the search effort or who passed along the blog.

Miracles do happen:)  Thank you–and welcome home Berdina!  Now, we need to find Berdina her FOREVER home!  http://findberdina.wordpress.com.

Good News!

Daisy and Zeke have been released of the care of their vet.  The most recent blood work shows that they are clear of any lingering danger related to the rat poison incident.  We just wanted to share the good news!

Meanwhile, back home on the “ranch:”

Daisy and Zeke still enjoy their naps in the front window.

Just Hangin’ Out…

Here are some photos of what Daisy and Zeke do all day.  And most evenings.
